Desert camping

7 Feb

We went desert camping.
When little boys see sand dunes, they can’t stop themselves:

And when I see a sunset, I just can’t stop myself:

Look, more sand:

This time with scorpion tracks:

Wherever we go, there’s uno:

And, less often, camel rides:

I know, cheesy as, but we had fun.

What an exotic life you’ve got there! Are you finding sand everywhere inside?

Yes! Even though we tipped both the boys and all their clothes upside down, a mountain of it still made it back to our teensy, tiny apartment.

Fabulous shots, ThirdCat! What an experience.

Kinda screws my plans to have you be my guide around the Adelaide Fringe comedy spots sometime though!

When one is in such a foreign land one really should indulge in “cheesy as” if only for the children.

Cheesy no. Gorgeous yes. Makes me want to break out the uno cards and see if Sapphire’s interested enough to stop watching ‘Australia’s Biggest Loser’ and thrash me as per usual.

That’s the most exotic game of Uno I’ve ever seen.

I see I’m not the only one thinking exotic in response to this post and those photos.

Although I was thinking it in French.

    Tres exotique. To be exact.

I’ve finally sued two minutes most productively to change your blog address in my sidebar.

You are still my 40-year-old with 2-small-kids and yet an exciting-life-&-career-change role model.

    Hanging out for the novel.
