One good thing about a blog, it gives you a place to vent

15 May

It is pointless sending me an email me asking me to comment on an agenda for a meeting I already missed because you informed me about said meeting by leaving me a message on my mobile on which I have left a fairly clear message which says ‘if you need to contact me, please ring me on my home phone because not only is it cheaper to leave a message there, but my phone charger is lost and I can’t check the messages on this phone so if you leave me a message on this mobile phone I will not get it and I will likely miss any meetings in which you are asking me to be involved’.

You are a goose.

Sheesh, cat, get a new charger on ebay! Just don’t get stuck there trying to flog off all your children’s possessions for 99 cents a pop.

Yes, the right one popped up on ebay late last week, and it arrived in my mailbox yesterday. After several million phone calls – the stories of poor service with which I could bore you. But won’t. At least I know if anyone steals my phone my revenge will be that replacing the charger is nearly impossible. So, I checked my messages, and it is surprising the number of people – including Telstra – who left me messages. And there I was thinking no one ever rang me.

Wow, who’d’ve thunk it? People can’t follow a simple direction…There’s bound to be a deeper comment in it somewhere, but i work in a “team” and I think “what idiot did X?!?!?!” way too often.

I’m glad to hear you have a functioning phone charger again, and by extension, a functioning phone.

You wouldn’t believe how many people tell me they ‘left a message on my mobile’, though I haven’t used it in over a year. I’ve told mot of them this fact a million times. People just can’t believe it if you say you don’t have a functioning mobile! (It’s sooooo 20th century.)

I want to buy the children’s possessions at 99 cents a pop.

Google “Ebay” by Weird Al Jankovic on YouTube.

Wanna buy, a slightly damaged golf bag.
Wanna buy some beanie babies new with tags
From some guy I’ve never met in Norway,
    Found him on Ebay.

99 cents a pop would be too much for most of our stuff…if you lived closer I’d give it to you. We even have two cots.

I just watched one of the videos, Helen. You know now I really want a ‘pacman fever lunchbox’.
